I was cold in Toulon and there happened to be a sweater-jacket that was calling to me. I wore it almost every day thereafter since my athletic jacket wasn't warm enough.
These are going to be fun.
I enjoy cooking so I will search for a few new recipes to use these Herbs de Provence.
The open market place in Toulon displayed an endless and colorful assortment of produce.
The name of some of the produce was unfamiliar to me.
Plenty of fruits, vegetables and fish. This is heart and soul of The Mediterranean Diet.
A wide variety of olives.
Fresh octopus anyone?
More delicious looking displays.
Later that afternoon and into the evening
Since we were just in Monte Carlo the day before I took interest in this ship of Grimaldi Lines anchored in Toulon. After his mother's death (Princess Grace) and the death of the father (Prince Rainer) Albert became head of the Grimaldi dynasty. According to the shipping company's website, the Grimaldi family’s ties with the sea date back to their involvement in maritime shipping as early as 1348, when the brothers Rajinerio, Richerio and Perino de Grimaldis were given a precious relic in solid gold by Queen Giovanna I, as a guarantee to charter three of their ships.
Back on the ship Randy is relaxing and taking it all in.
The beer is out of eyesight.
Moderno Restaurant. Brazilian Churrascaria BBQ style with an assortment of about 12 various barbecue/grilled meats.
Enjoying the scenery across the table (gee thanks!) ... as well as out the window.
Randy was the first on stage when announced anyone could come have their photo taken with the West End singers/dancers of Shout! The Mod Musical.
